The event locations have been set!

But remember, this is a "Create Your Own Tweetup" event, so you are free to plan your own activities, though it would be nice if there were only two groups of people.

Do what you want, with who you want.

All that's asked is that you attend the first night activities, which start are 5pm at Mackenzie Pub http://mackenziepub.com/ (918 Hennepin Avenue - Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403) and the event that follows which is Open Mic Night with 'Nick FUCKING Twists' a.k.a @Twisty_Monster at Comedy Corner Underground http://www.comedycornerunderground.com/openmic (1501 Washington Ave. S Minneapolis, Minnesota 55454) Cost is free to get into the comedy club, but a donation to the club would be appreciated.

For Saturday there's been an al a carte menu outlined if you feel like doing anything more than eating and drinking in prospective hotel rooms for the entire day and night.
Day events suggested include a trip to Mall of America, a Brewery Tour (if interested in that make sure to let your Tweetup hosts know and they can schedule the tour) or a visit to the Spoonbridge and Cherry.

Night events include bowling, dancing or pubbing.

When planning your travels around the city please be responsible while drinking and driving. Don't do it. A cab is pretty inexpensive in the downtown area if you split the fare.

When planning to take a cab in downtown Minneapolis be mindful that two and a half mile trip with a 15% tip is about $10.00 with Yellow Cab Taxi.

We're currently working on activities and affordable event space rentals, to better serve you.
